Desmos Art Project

This math lab, created by Stephanie Langille, reinforces students knowledge of linear patterns, tables, and graphing coordinates by creating a piece of art in Desmos. Stephanie worked with Burnaby South student Kiki DesJarlais to create a piece of art that would be recreated by the students.

This resource provides you with a step-by-step process that students can use to create a piece of art utilizing technology. Provided alongside this resource is a self-assessment on reasoning, analyzing, communication and representing.
