This document provides a list of Indigenous stories that can be used in classrooms and will continue to be updated with new titles to support meaningful connections between Indigenous stories and mathematics.
Educators are invited to use the Indigenous Storywork framework as a companion when engaging with these stories. Rooted in teachings from Indigenous Elders and storytellers, the framework offers guidance for learning from Indigenous cultures and ways of knowing, emphasizing the holistic connection between heart, mind, body, and spirit.
